will be held at the Holiday
Inn, Capitol Plaza, located on 3rd and
J St. in the heart of downtown Sacramento. A shopping mall
with food court and 6-screen movie theater is located next
to the hotel, and the historic Old Sacramento district
is only a few blocks walk. A variety of museums, including
the Railroad Museum, Discovery Museum and the Crocker Art
Museum are only minutes away.
The rate for the hotel is $124 plus 12% tax, for a single
or double room. The deadline for reservations at
this rate is December 29, 2003. To reserve a room,

If you are staying overnight in the
hotel, there is a City Self-Parking structure next to the
hotel, where you can park for $9.00 per night. When you
enter the structure, take the ticket from the machine.
While in the hotel, go to the front desk and give them
your room number (so they can charge the $9.00 to your
room) and have them stamp your ticket. When you are ready
to leave (be it 1 or 3 days later), present your stamped
ticket to the attendant. All of your parking charges will
appear on the bill for your room.
If you are not staying at the
hotel, but expect to attend more than 6 hours of the meeting
on any given day, it’s a little cheaper to use the valet
parking in front of the hotel. They will charge you $13.00,
rather than the $14.00 charged when you park in the City
Self-Parking structure. |
