On November 12, 1997 NCNMLG celebrated its 50th birthday with a festive dinner party at San Francisco's Palace Hotel. Andrea Woodruff and her committee (Ysabel Bertolucci, Leonard Shapiro and Sara Pimental) planned our celebration which was attended by 50 members, including 13 past Presidents. Following dinner, Nancy Zinn, chapter Archivist, gave us an engaging and humorous recap of her 12-month process of culling through our voluminous chapter archives of minutes, newsletters, manuals, annual reports, and correspondence (but sadly no photos) to write our chapter history. Nancy, you did a terrific job of both writing our history and relaying the process. Thank you! Everyone will receive a copy of the history along with the mailing of our new Membership Directory, being updated by James Liu, Membership Chair.
